Skincare-specific formulation compatibility
Eco-friendly skincare packaging. Tested with the formulations that matter.
Agropak bio-composite jars are made from coconut shell and bamboo fiber, with no petroleum polymer in the structural material. Formulation compatibility confirmed for face cream, serum, and lip balm through internal compatibility testing. 93% bio-based content verified by TÜV SÜD.
The Jar
50ml. Three colourways. One bio-composite material.
The Agropak jar is a 50ml cosmetic jar made from coconut shell powder and bamboo fiber, compression molded into a rigid form with an inner cosmetic-grade barrier coating. It has a screw-thread lid, a liner insert, and outer dimensions that fit standard filling and labelling lines.
The material contains no petroleum plastic. Bio-based carbon content is 93%, verified by TÜV SÜD. Compression-tested to 15,492 N at CIPET, Bengaluru.
Formulation Compatibility
Skincare types tested and confirmed.
Internal compatibility testing tracked pH stability, viscosity, colour, odour, microbial counts, and physical separation for each formulation type. Results showed no formulation degradation across the tested types. This is internal data; independent certification is an assessment in progress.
Before You Switch
What skincare brands typically ask.
Does the material affect formulation pH over time?
No pH shift was observed across the formulations included in the internal compatibility study. The bio-composite surface, with its barrier coating, does not interact with the formulations tested. Independent verification is an assessment in progress.
Can I use my existing filling equipment?
The jar opening and thread dimensions follow standard cosmetic jar specifications. Cold and ambient fill processes are compatible. Hot-fill processes have not been formally tested; contact us to discuss your specific fill parameters.
Is the lid included?
Yes. The bio-composite lid is supplied with the jar. Both are from the same material. The closure is a threaded fit designed for standard torque application by hand or by line equipment.
What claim can I make on the label?
"93% bio-based content, verified by TÜV SÜD (ASTM D6866)" is a specific, auditable claim. "Plastic-free" is accurate for the structural material. Claims about biodegradability or compostability are not supported and should not be made.
Material Expressions
Three colourways. No dyes added.
The colour comes from the source material itself. Coconut shell gives deeper, darker tones. Bamboo fiber gives the warmer, sandier variants.
